If what will likely lead to the dismantling of NATO can be interpreted in some way as a 'gift', then the Russian President is a 'gift'. And how fitting it is that this should come from Petraeus, who you only need to look back over the last eighteen months of his pronouncements about the Ukraine conflict to see how completely and dismally wrong he has been. Indeed, I don't think it would be unfair to describe Petraeus as "the biggest gift to those seeking the final and terminal break up of NATO".

@JamesO512 That's a fair question, and I'll try to give you a fair answer. I think that when the Ukraine conflict finally ends it will be manifestly obvious that NATO is a paper tiger, and only its rhetoric has caused any of us to believe that it was much more than that. All we've got in the West, and all we've had all along is our all-encompassing propaganda. Russia's move into Ukraine is what will finally bring this out for all to see. But until then - until the inevitable and ineluctable collapse of Ukraine happens - we're all going to have to continue suffering from this relentless propaganda, and Times Radio will carry on spouting it in their usual, obscene and terribly damaging way.
