  2.  @MidlifeStockman  I am originally from the Pontiac area in Oakland County. Move down here with my in-laws, retiring out of Pontiac motor been down here ever since ‘83. What I love is two month winters!! Don’t know how close you are to Springfield Missouri but that’s the home of Bass Pro. If you’re into hunting fishing and all that kind of stuff, it’s well worth your time to check out. South of there is Branson, which is a big tourist area like Gatlinburg.

  4. Good thing it was on the chilly side, biggest thing that you gotta worry around about here is copperheads. They’ll be slow to react in this cold.
