  2. To the main status quo, and just like India talked to China from 1986-88. That is the Chinese wish, just like India doesn't allow the Chinese to patrol the whole of Ladakh which is in her control. This is related to the 1962 war where Nehru accepted the Chinese position and refused to get them back.
