  5. I wish that I found it freeing. To me, it seems irrelevant. It is just so out of scale with my little world of things I will ever know.

  6. I may already be able to do this with meditation, I can turn meaning into abstraction for the time I am doing it. The rest of my life is defined by values I place on things. It gives my existence form and defines what freedom is. You seem to like "freedom" and "happiness". Would if you value these things did if you did not give them meaning? I wonder if this mode of thinking would be useful to someone who had lost the things that were once important to him as in cataclysm and war. It reminds me of the psychological state "disassociation."
