I already know that their club salary cap is meant to be no more than 70% of their income, and currently their salary is 120% of their income, and even with him playing for free, their club salary would still be 95% of their income. I've read all that stuff already. They needed come to a mutual agreement with player end his new 5 yr contract (the season hasnt even started yet. Had he even signed a new contract with Barca. I notice his contract only expired few months ago). Then the club wouldve also had to get few more players off the wage bill, and resign Messi on 100k-200k per week. Anyway he left for more money, went to a better club/better players, and a better city. A player in their mid 30s, what more do they want? Usually they are playing in MLS, China, or Saudi or something. So yep he went for money, so tell him to stop all the BS crocodile tears. Anyway why do you kids on youtube get so emotional over these players? :))) Don't feel sorry for them so much?

@Thor_thunder12345 Give me a link to the SPANISH EMPLOYMENT LAW regarding not being able to accept 50% salary cut (its not la liga rules). The articles says (SPANISH EMPLOYMENT LAW ). I find this all a big suspect. Anyway does that law involve ONLY if you are already in contract with a company or even when your contract has expired and you are signing a new contract? Anyway that 50% rule was not made for a guy that is getting paid 10s of millions per year. That law was created to safeguard everyday people on average salaries, so they don't get taken advantage of by their employees. lastly. He could've signed a 1 yr deal with a club in america or back in Argentina, and then resigned a year later with Barca.

If he really loved Barcelona then why didn’t he stay there and accept to be on the same salary as the players who they’ve kept. He’s already made more money than he’ll ever need. No he could. He could've come to mutual agreement to end his contract. Then signed for a 12month basis on 100k per week. If he really loved Barcelona, but he didn't. Greedy went to PSG for the money. That's it! Stop with the BS. If they guy said i don't want any money, they would say NO!! you have to get 500k-1MIL per week! you must. LOOOOL! Tell this to other kids your age. Even if he was forced to take it (which is utter nonsense). Then he could privately transfer the money to club accounts. It's greed. He left Barcelona for MONEY. So no point him giving BS tears, when it was up to him to leave.
