During that time, they've lost the House, they've lost the Senate, Baby Trump got kicked out of the White House, five entire states have flipped from red to blue, and the Republican party has withered down to being only 24% of the total electorate.   5. Perhaps the progressives, who are hopelessly outnumbered and out-voted in Congress, should charge into the House with guns and force everyone to vote the way we want? Listen, you're expecting too much, too soon. Nothing is going to fundamentally change until progressives have a clear majority in both Houses of Congress. Until then, it's baby steps.
