In what entitled delusion do you think every Canadian gets to own a house. Do you think the word rent was only invented yesterday. We couldn't afford houses because interest rates were 16% or the economy and job market was dead during conservative governments. Baby boomers went out at 16 and started a career and worked to get what they have. Their first house was a shack they fixed up. I know because I am one and we are disgusted at your generation of whiners.

@canadabear72 Yes is much safer in America where they have gun crimes 100s of times more. No free healthcare like Canada. Maybe you should wake up about the struggles of previous generations. There was a recession and no jobs when I was young. It took me 40 years to buy a home. Canada used to have good resource and manufacturing jobs paying good wages until conservatives invented free trade and killed the unions. It was a struggle. Today I see new cars everywhere and shopping mall parking lots full all the time. You need to stop being a mindless sheep of social media and conservative owned media.
