Did they bleed your Heritage Fund dry too or was that your Conservative government?

Turn off the taps already. We in BC have huge ports and can buy our fuel from Saudi. At least we won't be paying the highest prices in north amewrica anymore like we are being dependant on Alberta gouging. Then you will really have something to whine about.

Dream on BC has no interest in Alberta's temper tantrum

@Redmile2006 Why should we risk our environment allowing Alberta to pipe and ship their products to China when they leave us with the highest prices in North America. We would be better off buying from Saudis. Alberta is all take and no give with Bc. We don't need Alberta but without us giving access they have no way to get their products to market. That's my point. We should turn off the tap if we don't get fair prices.

BC has no interest in Alberta's seperation nonsense. They have even less interest in having the Burrard Inlet congested with tankers full of impossible to contain dilbit going to China just to enrich the oil companies and give the Cons money for corporate supporter's tax cuts.

@lmlmlmlm7627 Visit China where Alberta sells its products and then discuss foreign issues. In bc we care about the price of our gas just like Albertans care about their economics more than bc's environment

@lmlmlmlm7627 Selling your products to China the most repressive and corrupt government that is currently attacking the residents of hong kong makes you different? What hypocracy.

@randalljoly9412 Because we don't believe in being held hostage. It's principal and it's politics.
2
@randalljoly9412 Or taking money from China which is equal to or worse than Saudi
2
@randalljoly9412 We'll that to each other. We know exactly why they are so high. You starve the market by putting China's needs ahead of Canadians.
2
Go ahead and export all you want. Just keep that dilbit crap away from BC awaters nd stop bleeding us dry with the highest gas prices in North America.

@randylavallee7267 I speak what the vast majority of people in the metro area say. Its those Conservative voters living in the interior enjoying the benefits of the urban taxpayers who care nothing about our important waterways. Ask them to put a pipeline or tablet through okanogan lake where they have their million dollar cabins and see how long they support you.

Never has Trudeau suggested Alberta leave. That's part of the temper tantrum that follows blaming Quebec and BC for all their problems instead of decades of Conservative governments who built a single resourse economy.

Heavily increased foreign oil costs? BC pays the highest fuel costs in North America because they were foolish enough to rely on Alberta. Since their big oil makes higher profits sending dilbit for China through the pipeline they starve the market driving up prices. Now they want to increase tanker traffic through an already congested Burrard Inlet risking BC's robust economy to make more profits and more revenues for the Cons to pass on to their wealthy supporters tax cuts.
