He slashed so many programs like Nurse and teacher training programs that we are paying for today. Yet he was still able to give the wealthy tax cuts. As for housing, the same occurred in every western Country. It has nothing to do with governments. Of course the Alberta Conservative MP who owns 17 residential investment homes certainly doesn't help. You forgot to mention the terrible economy and low employment which were the many reasons he got turfed.

This is the result of Conservative governments like Harper handing control of everything including food to greedy corporations. Trudeau isn't setting prices, they are. Trudeau isn't making record profits, they are. The Conservative PM in England just resigned after her tax cutting tanked their economy. It was diving irresponsible consumers money that created this problem but they had to spark the economy after Covid. That's why the coalition government is feeding social programs instead of money into Canadians. People are whining about inflation over their $5 latte or whatever that crap is they buy. I see carts overflowing with luxury items at the grocery store while struggling on my pension because consumers are feeding it. I'm not going to blame Trudeau for it all.

Canadians as a majority voted to have a minority government giving them a mandate to work together.
