There was an Horrific Accident at one of the Checkpoints with 5 deaths occurring . This led to a Federal Law that the National Limit was 100 km/h . The " Ghostbusters " signs DO still exist here and there around the place , but they MEAN 100 . Any time one of those gets replaced , a Number replaces it . A State can post a Higher limit on certain Roads , BUT , they have to be SPECIFIC as to what that higher limit is .

The V-8 sound you are used to is , Yes , much lower Revs and usually with a Cross-Plane Crank . 90 degree throws . I think that is using a Flat-Plane Crank . 180 degree throws . Sounds somewhat like a V-8 Cosworth F1 Engine .

You don't get Arrested for it , just Parked up for Towing . A 41 foot/12.5 metre Trailer MIGHT be Compliant , but would Restrict your Loads . Everyone else is using 45 and 48 foot trailers these days . You got a Photo ? With a link ?
