  2. Engine , Aussie built 308 , Iron Block , Pushrods probably still on a Carburettor . 7,500 rpm . And that man ! Peter Brock won this Event 9 times . He was the HOLDEN guy . No Change of Marque . It was a Ford Cobra-Daytona that KILLED him , doing a Targa Event . His Compatriot , Dick Johnson , the FORD guy , was equally as good at RACE and Talk . Group

  3.  @aussiefirie  . Two things here . One ; Using the SAME IRON Block re-sleeved , how is that going to save weight ? And Two ; They have to Ballast these cars to BE at Minimum Weight . However , I just did a Calculation and think you are RIGHT for the Wrong Reason . 308 Cubic Inches is actually 5.044 Litres . Exceeds the 5 litre limit . So re-sleeving to 304 would get them there .
