  1. Bring back Whitworth..........................🤣. Or B.S. (British Standard) . The U.S. haven't adopted Metric because they're Pig-Headed . The Reality is , measuring systems don't matter in any way other than BEING CONSISTENT . But Metric is base 10 for everything . Very convenient . Also , Metric correlates Length , Volume and Weight . One Cubic Centimetre of PURE WATER = One Gram . 1000 cc's = 1 Litre & 1 Kilogram . 1000 litres = 1 Tonne /1000 Kilograms . Imperial Ton = 2240 lb . Imperial Mile is 1760 Yards or 5280 Feet and the Metric Tonne turns out to be almost the same . 1 kilogram = 2.204 pounds . 1 Mile = 1.601 Kilometres /1601 metres . Etc...........
