That Ford XC - GT most likely had a 302 Windsor in it . Even the Cobra Model . Would need a look at the Front Wing for the Badge . They are NOT a small car for a Two-Door . 5 seats in there . May have still had Drum rear brakes back then . The Red and White sedan was an Early Commodore . VB or VC Model . Tasmania is VERY hilly and Very Temperate . Fog and Rain are ALWAYS present somewhere on that island . And Yes . Peter Brock died contesting one of these events . In a Ford Daytona . Shelby cobra with a Roof , basically .

@johnd8892 . Umm , I don't think there is any such thing as a 302 Cleveland . 351 and 302 Windsor yes , 302 was reliable in those 351 W , not so much . And Cleveland was a 351 , that WAS reliable . Cleveland MUCH stronger Architecture . Stronger wider Block , different Heads Etc .

Update to previous comment . XA Hardtop . Cobra Spec . It was a 351 Cleveland . Had the 5.8 Badge on the Front wings . 302's had a 302 Decal in the same spot . Handled like BOAT really . The Red and White car was a Holden Commodore . Most likely 308 powered . And it is ALWAYS raining somewhere in Tasmania . English Climate there . Targa isn't a Circuit Race . More like a Rally . Sections of Public Road . Is Jack Squat related to Diddly Squat ? We tend to go with S F A here . Sweet F--k All .
