  1. I'd say that the Gnat partly influenced the design of the Yugoslav/Romanian J-22 Orao/IAR-93 light attack aircraft. It looks like it's bigger cousin. Although the greatest inspiration was probably the Jaguar (whose design may have also been influenced by the Gnat).
