He lost badly. He photobombed the winner's press conference. Was admitted even if he had not been invited. Had a tantrum anyway about not having been invited. I've seen better sportsmen at the kindergarten.

@desmoMarco91 A tantrum anyway. 2017 Louis Vuitton Cup post-final press confecence. Winner only (ETNZ in that case). Artemis Racing, not invited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRy6-S9s6ZI&t=105s The difference is that the Swedes didn't had their tantrum.
6
@jamesbong7852 They can loose, but you'll not see them having a tantrun like "sir" Ben Ainslie.
5
There's nothing better than the tears of sore losers.
5
@bobbybland8255 It may be very well be that LR will be beaten. AC had always been favourable to the defender. But it's unlikely you'll see Spithill or Bruni having childish tantrums like that.
5
@bakters So "what's unthinkable" is a wild guess of you on a thing that didn't happen? 1) "Winner only" press conferences are not new in AC, or other sports for that matter. 2) when it happened in AC, the losing team organised their own press conference. They didn't show up uninvited at the winner's one and, after having been allowed, whined about not having been invited. 3) Ineos team can organise press conferences at will. That's an example of the "things that are going off the water" that he didn't like? The others were? The lack of marmite sandwiches in the hospitality?
4
@franzfanz Ineos Team has the right to organize press conferences as they whish. To show up in a press conference that was scheduled to be only for the winner, and complaining AFTER he had been allowed to participate anyway seems very specious. That's an example of the "things that are going off the water" that he didn't ike? The others were? The lack of marmite sandwiches in the hospitality?

@jimhood1202 Ineos Team has the right to organize press conferences as well.

2
A sore loser's little tantrum.
2
@kiral3 They had not been excluded. They had still to end the race.
2
He's not back home already?
2
There's nothing like the tears and the helpless anger of the sore losers to tell you that you have won.

@kiral3 No, he's talking about a sore loser that photobombed the winner's press conference and then complained about not having been invited.
2
Four years ago the final press conference of the Luis Vuitton Cup was for the winner alone, ETNZ in that case. The only difference was that the Swedes didn't whine, nor bragged about the feats of their grandfathers. Different class.
2
Already in 2007 Alinghi organised a press conference for the winner alone. Team NZ organised their own press conference (they didn't show up uninvited to Alinghi's one, to complain later, after having been allowed anyway). Ineos team can organize press conferences at will. It's like Ben Ainslie photobombing, and then complaining to have not been invited in the picture.
1
Photobombing the winner's press conference, then complaining about not having been invited (the schedule was exactly the same of 4 years ago, when the final press conference of the Luis Vuitton Cup was for the winner alone, ETNZ in that case, but the Swedes didn't whine) makes you a sore loser.
1
Yeah. LR should have let Ben hide under the blankets instead of make him get out, race, being beaten and then have his little tantrum.
1
@martinjohnson4264 The press conference that was for the winner only in the last Louis Vuitton cup too?
1
@kiral3 It's because the COR has class. What's the point in kicking someone already on his way home? Let him have his little tantrum.
1
@1971captinjack Yeah. A face when they are present, another one when they are not.
1
@petittrainguernsey3297 They are not real. It's all in your head.
1
@bakters AC 2007. After the victory, Alinghi organised a press conference for the winner only. Team New Zealand organised their own press conference. They didn't show up uninvited at the Alinghi one, to later complain to not having been invited. What's unthinkable? Ineos Team can organise press conferences at will.
1
@petittrainguernsey3297 You should chill out a bit. They are not going to hurt you.
1
So in AC 2007. The press conference was for the winner only.
1
@glennlittlefield4022 Ben seems to be fuming in defeat.
1
You seem so fragile, to hope ETZN will beat the "villains" for you.
1
The press conference was scheduled to be for the winner only. INEOS team can organise press conferences at will. Instead he decided to show up at the press conference he was not invited to. He had been admitted, despite not having been invited. He complains anyway. That's an example of the "things that are going off the water" that he didn't ike? The others were? The lack of marmite sandwiches in the hospitality?
1
@fedup3449 So having double the budget of LR had not been enough for Ineos?
1
@kiral3 You obviously didn't know what to reply.
1
@kiral3 What mistake? Already in 2007 Alinghi organised a press conference for the winner alone. 1
@tcdossor So was the AC 2007 organised by Alinghi, competitor and defender, so organiser of the AC. Once the races are over, the competitors are no more balanced. There is a winner and there is a loser and, in Prada Cup, America's Cup, or in any other sport can be organised a press conference for the winner only. It's not even strange. What's strange is the loser showing up to photobomb the winner's press conference, being allowed anyway, and then whining because he had not been invited.

They could have designed a boat for under 12 knots wind. None prevented it.
