  1. The fluted chamber was patented by Giovanni Agnelli (the owner of FIAT car brand) in 1915 for the Fiat-Revelli machinegun (altough not used, since it wasn't really needed in that design). Infact, when the Soviets reused the concept in the '30s called it "Agnelli device".

  2. It seems to be a good design for the '20s, but the quantity of accurate machining required for each of them seems to be at swiss-rifle level.
