In every blowback action, delayed or not, the rearward movement of the case starts when the pressure is very high (it starts the very moment the ammo is fired). The trick is to stay into the possibility of the metal of the base of case to stretch until the pressure drops to the point to allow the case body to move (before, the same pressure sticks the case body to the chamber so, if the opening of the action is not delayed enough, you risk case separation).

Since it tends to extract the brass under pressure and usually is coupled with chamber fluting, there is a lot of dirt that comes from the barrel to the bolt. That worsen with a suppressor (suppressors usually keep the pressure in the barrel higher, and suppressed firearms always run dirtier than unsuppressed ones).

@Seb-Storm Not really blasts. Nothing you can see. But there are abundant leaks of carbon particles from the barrel to the chamber-bolt area.

No, roller locked.
