  1. Ima SuperPerson Agreed, the Russians were worried about the massive yield and saw sense. Basically this was just sabre rattling Cold War style. I think the largest US nukes were 25 Mt bombs the B41 which was a 3 stage weapon like the Tzar bomb and I think the B-41 was the only 3 stage weapon to be deployed, fission to fusion to fusion to fission (Fission jacket).  3 bombs in one.
