  4.  @JamesHarris-  well yes there is historical precedent, that’s what happened to Richard Nixon when defence secretary Schlesinger and Kissinger asked WH Staff to refer ALL defense matters related to nuclear weapons to them first before carrying out Nixon’s orders - after Nixon ordered nuclear armed B-52s to head to their DEFCON destinations towards the then Soviet Union before turning back. I think you’re naive in thinking all government officials would blindly carry out orders for possible unprovoked global annihilation from a President with a drinking problem. In Trump’s case it’s a character problem called irrationality.
