So, if you’re talking about a hypersonic glide vehicle that launches a nuclear tipped supercavitating torpedo into a USN strike group - it’s beyond any nation’s capability to invent such a weapons system. For example, dropping a 3 ton torpedo into the right bit of water at Mach 5 wouldn’t be very good for it and the glide vehicle would be the same size as the Space Shuttle. Supercavitating Fish is probably a topic for another day.

There also a difference between fielded weapons and their actual utility versus what the propaganda and even manufacturers brochures tell you. I should know, I’ve 22 years military service to call upon.
