@jyralnadreth4442 Yes, I remember that clusterfuck well back in 1991. It looks as if pretty much every defensive weapon was used, from SM2 to ESSM to decoys and active jammers in the Mason action. I dont blame them.

@jyralnadreth4442 To be fair I would expect a modern Aegis combatant to be able to handle what is basically a subsonic MM38 Exocet copy fired at them in salvo but I agree, that sort of experience is very valuable, it must have concentrated minds and I am happy the crew were up to the task as well as the gear they carry.

HiveTyrant36 I don`t mind if you choose not to believe the Pentagon or the hundreds of sailors on those ships who saw inbounds on their scopes with Chinese cruise missile signatures right out of the threat libraries, but if you are going to believe an alternate story, at least have a shred of evidence to believe in, otherwise it just expose you for the propagandist you seem to be.
