  2.  Paul Nolan  Do you ever wonder how the UK functioned before we joined the EU?. One million people were employed in the mining industry in the UK in 1920 and by 2015 it was 2,000. Also the UK fishing industry before we joined the EU was one million tonnes a year and after we joined the EU it went down to 600,000 tonnes a year.

  4.  Paul Nolan  There are more than a few remainers who don't understand data. George Osborne implied that the UK would be plunged into recession immediately if the verdict was to leave the EU with growth 3 to 6% lower. I am still waiting for the recession. I hope he wasn't telling Porky's.

  6.  Paul Nolan  The UK produced 28.3 million tonnes of steel in 1970 before we joined the EU, this went down to 7.6 million tonnes in 2016.
