Declared a terrorist incident?, what a shocker, not.

I think the police should have not have divulged any further information other than saying Nicola was high risk and had vulnerabilities. If Nicola is found then she knows that everyone in the UK will know that she has a drinking problem and is going through the menopause.
28
Also if she fell into the river wouldn't she have shouted for help?. There were other dog walkers so why didn't they hear anything?.
19
Apparently the dog was not wet.
14
The Police are a set of hypocrites, one minute they want the best outcome for Nicola's children because they deserve it and they then disclose that their mother has a drinking problem and is menopausal. When Nicola's children go to school the other pupils and their parents now know that their mother has a drinking problem and is going through the menopause.

In the UK we have the highest death toll in Europe from COVID-19 at over 45,000 deaths, it is not just America that is struggling to control it. Unfair to blame Trump for a virus that originated in China.
12
The road is quite close to where she was found.

Labour under Saint IKEA Starmer can't seem to get rid of bad rubbish. Funny how vocal Saint IKEA Starmer was about Dominic Raab, he wanted him removed a.s.a.p.

Sean o Immigration can make life difficult. My husbands job involves dealing with the public and on one occassion he was trying to explain things to a Polish woman who couldn't speak English and because my husband can't speak Polish it was what you call a no win situation. Luckily the Polish woman knocked on her neighbours door and although he was also Polish he could speak some English so my husband was in this ridiculous situation of having his words translated by one Polish person to another. Not what you can call a fun day at work. Of course the Politicians don't have to deal with anything like this and leave it to the people working on the front line, lol.

Sean o What makes you think that Labour supports the "Working Man?", maybe thay did in ye olden days but not any more. New Labour have for years only been interested in people on benefits and making them a priority and i shall not forget that 22 Labour politicians abstained or voted against a £26,000 benefit cap. My husband earns a lot less than £26,000. I live in Rotherham and we have a large Romanian Gypsy population including one family with 11 children who were featured in the tv programme "Gypsies on benefits". I would like to know how many of them have jobs but they will never tell us because they want us to believe that all immigration benefits Britain.

This social media has got out of hand, now it seems everyone is playing detective.
9
It has been reported that the exits have CCTV with the exception of Garstang Lane which they are now requesting more CCTV footage of from the public.
9
I am not sure that the multi millionaire Saint IKEA Starmer (reportedly worth between £5 to £7 million) is familiar with the struggles of the poor.
8
@UnipornFrumm Does anyone "normal" murder someone?.
7
Amazing how wealthy some people are. Chelsea Clinton is estimated to be worth $15 million.
7
Cry me a River?
6
Rishi Sunak announced an extra £1,000 for people on Universal Credit over the next 12 months, what are they doing with it?
6
I would presume that they will ask for voluntary redundancies first. A few years ago Doncaster Council wanted around 1,000 redundancies and well over 1,000 people applied for voluntary redundancy.
6
I agree. It is not nice knowing that Nicola is classed as high risk and with certain vulnerabilities but for the police to announce that she has a drinking problem and is going through the menopause is a step too far and is information that will not help their investigation. Just think if she is found safe and then finds out that everyone in the UK knows she has a drinking issue and is menopausal.
6
Maybe it was tactical voting considering how low the turn out was.
6
The Police are more concerned about preserving their well paid jobs and possible future promotions than dealing with serious issues like what happened in Rotherham with the "Grooming Gangs" scandal.
6
@JesusSavesSouls I thought the same although everyone reacts to shock and grief in different ways.
6
Sir Keir Starmer attended a "work meeting" during one of the lockdowns, he was photographed with a glass of beer in his hand and apparently they all ate takeaways. I will never understand how he got away with it.
5
The stuff of nightmares.
5
Yes I wonder if "Bill and Ben the Flower pot men" are self isolating in Wales.
5
Completely agree about Joe Biden.
5
It has been reported that he is of Somali origin.
5
Saint IKEA Starmer has gone very quiet on this matter and yet he was very vocal about Dominic Raab.
5
Ian Mangham You are on the wrong thread.
5
@1daxwood It has been reported that he is of Somali origin.
5
Irish 1916 What about Sweden then?
4
Is it?. I hope Boris calls one and wipes them all out.
4
They will have to wear a track suit.
4
Two of the people who died were two 19 year old students.
4
The police are requesting more CCTV footage of Garstang Lane. Apparently all the other exits have CCTV which has been viewed.
4
During this Pandemic the Conservative Government have given people on Universal Credit an extra £1,000.
4
Sky News have no boundaries, everything is a free for all.
4
I agree but if she is found safe she will have to deal with the fact that the Police have disclosed to everyone in the UK that she has a drinking problem and that she is going through the menopause.
4
Paul Sebastian According to the press anybody that they deem to be white is "far right". I suppose if "The Chelsea Pensioners" had turned up there is a possibility they would have been classed as "far right".
4
In the case of Saint Keir, it could be a case of "Chickens coming home to roost".
4
It only hits home when it starts happening in "their own backyard" so to speak.
4
@MikeB-nn4nh It has been confirmed that she was a good swimmer.
4
@221b-Maker-Street If she entered the water it is odd how her body has not been found. The actress Naya Rivera drowned in a lake in 2020 on the 8th of July and she was found on the 13th July. It has been reported that the river Wyre is 15ft deep in places but I have read that where they think Nicola might have entered the water it is not very deep. Also they have not found any of her clothing, if she was wearing a hat would that have floated off?. I am only speculating.
4
Completely agree about Saint IKEA "Captain Hindsight" Starmer.
4
@michaelrch Are you sure about that?. When Labour were last in power the Personal Allowance (money allowed to earn before paying tax) was a pathetic £6,475. At present the Personal Allowance under the Conservatives is £12,570.
4
The sanctimonious Chris Bryant?, give me a break.
4
Allegra Stratton is a disgrace, her silly antics on the podium shouting her mouth off about alleged parties made a mockery of Boris and it appears she may have got the job because she was friendly with Carrie.
4
My late father always said "You can't polish a turd".
3
Saint IKEA Starmer linked Rishi Sunak's comment to Brianna. Meanwhile Saint IKEA is still confused about what a woman is.
3
I am not convinced about the outcome of Saint IKEA Starmer's "beer and curry party", sorry "work meeting", wink, wink.
