I wonder how many of the multi millionaire Labour MP's drive past food banks without giving them a look or a thought?.

@anthonybillaustralia2182 Not everyone is capable of getting their priorities right, how many people going to food banks have Sky and expensive mobiles etc?. One thing i have always been proud of is that I have never had Sky and never will.

alex kennedy Between 1997 and 2010 under Labour immigration quadrupled to 2.2 million equivalent to twice the population of Birmingham.
1
@garryrobson2297 There are more than a few multi millionaire Labour MP's including Sir Keir Starmer (worth £3 to £4) million and Jeremy Corbyn (worth £3 million).
1
alex kennedy Some of Sir Keir Starmer's wealth will have been inherited. Jeremy Corbyn grew up in Yew Tree Manor, Shropshire which is or was part of The Duke of Sutherland Estate.

@billgowland3250 Apart from Sir Keir Starmer (worth £3 to £4 million) and Jeremy Corbyn (worth £3 million), Ed Milliband is worth £2 to £3 million and it was reported years ago that Margaret Hodge was worth £18 million.
1
@billgowland3250 Has Tony Blair published his?. It has been widely reported that Tony Blair has a property empire of homes and flats worth £30 million.
1
@billgowland3250 People expect The Conservatives to be wealthy, Labour MP's not so much.
1
@garryrobson2297 Is that what you are saying?.

@garryrobson2297 I think one of the problems is that some people can't cook because they don't know how to or they don't have time. Fast food is no longer cheap and it is convenient. We have a young woman with three young children living across from us and she rents the property and she has just split up with her partner and we see fast food being delivered to her home at least three times every week. It has opened our eyes because we have a fast food delivery about three times a year if that, lol.

@garryrobson2297 When Labour were last in power the amount people were allowed to earn before paying any tax was a pathetic £6,475. At present under The Conservatives people are allowed to earn £12,500 before paying any tax.
1
@garryrobson2297 I know which i prefer.
1
People on good wages (£40,000 plus) will pay more National insurance, maybe this is why some Labour MP's on their £80,000 plus salaries are upset.
1
@nickssurplus True. It was reported that the Labour run Doncaster Council pays over £2 million to 18 members of it's staff and yet some of it's lowest paid staff are paid £17,500. Absolute disgrace.
1
Neither are Labour under the leadership of the multi millionaire Sir Keir "down on one knee" Starmer.
1
@callumtalulah47 So do Labour, they favour "The Benefit Brigade".
1
@johnstephen4883 I would be more worried about Labour having no Social Care reform plan. Rachel Reeves was asked about this which was a blow to her.
1
@callumtalulah47 The Government have supported people throughout this Pandemic with the furlough scheme and extra Universal Credit. Also some people think it is only the Tories who are wealthy but there are more than a few multi millionaire Labour MP's including Sir Keir Starmer (worth £3 to £4 million) and Jeremy Corbyn (worth £3 million).
1
@callumtalulah47 Not true the Unions and Arthur Scargil played a part in the demise of the coal industry. Also British Leyland the car manufacturer went bankrupt because the unions instigated over 300 strikes, lol.
1
@callumtalulah47 In 1974 the NUM (The National Union of Mineworkers) union brought down the Edward Heath Conservative Government.
1
Apparently people pay no National insurance below £9,568.00.
1
I honestly could not care less.
