  1. I agree, but note it’s not to protect US workers and consumers, it’s being done to protect a US pet project.

  2.  @bsmithhammer  good point. It does have benefits in the areas you mentioned, but that is a side affect of the primary reasons the government is doing this and the costs far out weigh the benefits to the citizenry
