  1. As a Texan, in the industry, the timing did seem very punitive, but the actual impact in the near- to mid-term is less than negligible. As Peter mentioned, I guess it but did placate the greenies, which to me seem like some of the dumber folks in today’s society. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for well thought out means to move to a more sustainable society, but the radical green agenda would destroy the very system that enables us to intelligently move in this direction over time.
