  1. First off, thanks for your service. Second, I’m a huge fan of Germany and Germans. When looking in the rear view mirror, it’s hard to imagine that Germany will do anything other than prosper, however I can tell you unequivocally that Germany is in deep trouble and will in all likelihood have to endure decades of decline. They are facing massive constraints in people, energy, and markets to sell to. I’m pulling for them, but it’s going to be very difficult. We’ll see
