Sorry for your situation. I’m on the opposite side of the coin. I’m 58 and my company just implemented returned to office 5 days. Fortunately, I live in one of three cities where we have offices, so I’m sitting pretty. People quitting left and right and those of us that are here have just been offered extra shares to stick around. I’m speaking to my manager next week about needing additional time off, paid or unpaid, it doesn’t matter to me.

Sir, you’re just a few months from being a boomer yourself, but I’m not far behind you at 58. I work in the tech space and many of my colleagues are young enough to be my grandkids. The good news, with the boomer’s retiring is there’s a shortage of experience, so we should be good to go until we want to retire. For me, I’m done at the end of 2025

@jacobzindel987 what a bunch of nonsense, in no world do Xers feel threatened by young-bloods in the workplace, unless it’s MMA or the NFL. You need to stop blaming and focus on yourself, junior.
