  1. I worked for Tesla for a several years and at least up until the time I left in 2018, the majority of Tesla’s purchased were for secondary purposes. The SF Bay Area was an anomaly in the data, but overall this was the case. The Cybertruck is only attended to be a niche product as most truck drivers need range, towing, or both and truck culture isn’t be a fan of EVs for several reasons. I wasn’t involved in the 18-wheeler program, but they are definitely not suited for long-haul and probably be limited to 4-6 hour shifts.
