Peter if flat out wrong on his take. Even according to Peter, the US has been withdrawing as the world’s police for over 30 years. So it makes complete sense to prevent NATO from expanding because that’s just another group of people the US has to defend. The Europeans have been living under the umbrella of US protection for decades without providing the committed level of funding. If Europe wants to engage in a land war in Ukraine, that’s their decision. America’s vow to NATO members is to protect them against aggressors on their soil. If Europe up to decides to invade Ukraine, even if it’s to protect from Russia, the NATO commitment does not apply.

@budmiller7436 Honestly, your comment is the only nonsense on this thread. It definitely doesn’t preclude anyone from being convicted as a traitor, but she should at least be given the courtesy of not being accused without evidence after serving without blemish, including tours in Iraq and Kuwait reaching the rank of Lt. Colonel, while carrying top secret clearance. She was not accused of any of this during her decades as a democrat. It wasn’t until she became a republican in 2024 that this started and yet throughout her confirmation hearings not a shrewd of evidence was produced by the legions of dem politicians that came at her with vitriol.
