@Interlocutor67 Against the UK in war, Venezuela would be completely out classed. The only difficulty for the UK would be supply lines and citizen support for the effort.

@johnnykrauze Agree, they’re not going to be storming the beaches of Guyana, but then again this isn’t WWII, however their navy could easily establish a blockade to prevent any oil exports which would collapse the economy inside of six months and there’s no naval power in the area to prevent this. Also the Americans are nearby and wouldn’t let the UK get into a tangle without providing support. Whether or not the UK has the will to do this, I do not know, but a lack of will is all that would stop them. It certainly wouldn’t be Venezuela stopping them., right?
