@alekdemj You’re not wrong about their demographics, but keep in mind that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 and the world did nothing which enabled Russia to consolidate power in Crimea with troops and war infrastructure. Everyone with a brain knew Russia wouldinvade deeper into Ukraine and this has been hanging over the Ukrainian population and impacting birth rates for over a decade now.

Ukraine has a huge problem too, but those numbers are incorrect. It’s not as bad as you’ve laid out. Also Russia numbers are far worse than you’ve indicated. Russia population not stable at all according to the WHO.

But you can move to Russia with your leftist friends. After all, Russia is more closely aligned with your political beliefs than America.

As an American that lived in Thailand for nearly a decade, what you’re seeing now is a result of the Russian mafia moving into Thailand en masse in the early 2000s. There were large communities of Europeans there before which have left because of the Russians. Also Thailand sold their soul to China in the beginning around 2008 and unfortunately the Thais are suffering because of it.
