  1. I’m an IT/Wireless engineer and have designed and deployed comms and data networks in the Permian and the Eagle Ford. There is so much going on within each of the pad, storage tanks, holding station, and pipelines, etc. Some drilling locations have over 150 SCADA devices/site to monitor and control operations. All the data generated is sent to the cloud for storage, processing, and utilized to develop preventive maintenance algorithms. Even what you can’t driving through the area is pretty impressive.
