  2. I think Tony Blair can only dream of what this faux conservative party are doing. It's only the passage of time and the gradual salami slicing that enables these Draconian policies to be put in place. Having said that, I'm sure Blair would probably have gone further.

  3.  @zeddeka  yes, I can see your point. People do confuse the wanton destruction of a society as incompetence when it's deliberate. This government are doing the same but with a large degree of incompetence. The left have years of experience whereas conservatives are relatively new to it
