@crushcommando8637 they didnt have an overwhelming advantage in troops tho. They started this war with 190k vs Ukraines 225k and then rapidly mobilized more whereas Russia didnt. At least get your facts straight before commenting

@crushcommando8637 vdv got wiped out? According to who? Vdv successfully held the airport securing it for later landings (remember in the end Russians controlled Hostomel until withdrawal)

@1Ministras 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣 Russia didnt use more than 500 tanks in this operation, 196k men (of which 80k was only combat troops) and Ukraine had similar equipment due to them trading and fixing Russian equipment over the years lol. Get your facts straight

@toddbrackett4277 first of all, there have been numerous cases where they pass off Ukrainian losses for Russian ones (easy to do since similar equipment), next Ukrainians would frequently take their own equipment and paint 'Z' on it and and pass it off as Russian losses, next Oryx overcounts russian losses as Russians would frequently take "blown up" tanks and repairing them - theres numerous images all over telegram of Russian repairing blown up tanks. Oryx then counts that as multiple tank losses even though its the same tank. Theres also a reason why Oryx stopped counting losses after the Ukrainian counteroffensive kicked odf since it used NATO equipment and it was hard to pass of Ukrainian losses for Russian ones. Thsts not even to mention the fact that alot of the "Russian" losses were actually DPR/LPR. Pentagon paper leaks show Russian tank losses did not exceed 200 or so before the offensive on avdeevka (the way its presented is its own can of worms i wont get into)

@toddbrackett4277 sorry the site is lostarmor not millosses. Far more accurate in their counts than oryx. Furthermore, my point of oryx being fake is supported by the fact that Oryx gets funding from the BBC, when the BBC has been caught in lies previously claiming Russia was running out of vehicles, men, ammo and food back in april 2022. Oryx is a propaganda site and you guys fall for it lol

@toddbrackett4277 its not what I believe, 200 tanks is what US officials claimed in the Pentagon papers due to their measurements from satellite images. Ukraine has far more than 200 tanks lmao. They got over 250 T72s from Poland alone. Add to that all the NATO gear. You do realize the Russian army proper doesnt use T62s? Rather its given to LDPR units or used as mobile artillery, go watch the video by Austrian Colonel Reisner who talks abt it The fact that you keep repeating propaganda like "Russians field T62s therefore they have high losses" only shows me you have not done research beyond the cursorary or you are a troll intentionally obfuscating facts.
