  2. Who would think your publisher was selling your game in countries their service doesn't work in? Plus, Sony COULD'VE made it clear in their advertising.

  5. It was mandatory on launch but Sony's implementation prevented anyone playing, therefore he froze that part until it was fixed.

  6. I'll fill you in, it was Sony server issues that meant only a handful of people could link accounts at a time. Making it skippable meant you could play in the meantime while the server throughput was fixed. Arrowhead never said it was 'optional,' but SONY did say PSN accounts were optional for PC games until recently. Of course, accounts clearly aren't necessary to the customer...

  7. Er, it ISN'T their job to be aware. They hired a PUBLISHER to sell their game for them, because they make games, they don't sell to customers. Sony is who you buy from. Of course they were busy making their game work.

  8. Uhm, I don't even own the game and was aware of the SONY account launch issue. Sony made the game unplayable at launch. If he didn't block it that would have also fucked his game. You're suggesting he left it as it was? Remember advertising and informing the customer is SONY's job.

  13. SONY published it in those countries. SONY misinformed through their website. SONY's issues made it unplayable at launch. Could a splash screen been made sooner? Sure, but fixing it was the priority. Now- refunds- absolutely all games must be refundable until AFTER AN ACCOUNT HAS BEEN MADE. This is because the customer has NOT seen or agreed to the terms of an account.

  15. I disagree- SONY chose to enable purchase without an account. The publisher decides if its sold on steam, their own client or website, and so on. It's only because sony's crap pairing servers were crap they had to make it optional. What a buyer would have seen: steam 'requires account to play' bar on the store. Sony's website stating psn accounts are optional for pc games, and ingame shortly into launch pairing accounts was now 'skippable' with a pop up.

  17. Yeah, you say you had no idea of the requirements and terms of the psn account and can't aggree to them, and therefore the contract is invalid. Sony also missold you on their website advising psn accounts are optional for PC games.
