  2. I think the people in EU countries will be very unhappy about a totally bankrupt country joining the EU. Keep in mind millions of people from Ukraine had left before the war, because there were no jobs in Ukraine. Will the refugees from this war (millions left two days before the war) go back to Ukraine? Will it be an empty wasteland. Putin may take it over now after all the bs from the West, but that never was his original intention. He was just interested in saving the people in Donbass and surrounding Russian areas, and securing Crimea.
