It would be reasonable to change draft age, but only if Ukraine has all the weapons it needs.

@bleachcoughdrops8299 so it's ok for Putin to massacre civilians because they wanted to associate with Europe?
1
@bleachcoughdrops8299 the Baltic states joined NATO to prevent Putin from attacking and now they are safe. Putin feels free to attack any of it's neighbors (and it has done it to many of them). Neutrality makes them vulnerable. If your powerful neighbor wants your property you better have some powerful friends to help you

@mirulmarcoba8976 shared values, free market, cultural bonds, freedom, democracy. I think they see nations of the free world as what they would like for themselves and the future of their children.
1
@mirulmarcoba8976 it's hard to imagine that Ukraine would accept neutrality now that Putin is trying to destroy them. Ukraine was a peaceful European country. They wanted to align with Europe out of fear of being attacked and that is exactly what happened. We can't ask them to trust that they will be safe from Putin's obsession with restoring the Russian empire. The most you can ask from Ukraine is to give up some territory which is probably what will happen.

Russia is not going to give up kalinengrad no matter what the results are. It's far too important to them.
1
When is the free world going to understand they are already, right now, under attack by Russia and China. Infiltration, covert influence campaigns, espionage, subversion, sabotage. If Trump wins its a Russian victory.
1
Laughed when I read that 🤣
1
This would be a great time for the people in countries Putin has attacked to rise up. Talking about Georgia, Chechnya, Syria. Even pro-democracy forces in Belarus. No way Putin can fight on multiple fronts.
1
True!

I support you with all my heart but you have to work on your media strategy. The no-fly zone is not going to happen. Real or perceived, the danger of nuclear war is just too much for anyone to accept. I wish it would happen but it won't. I know you are in a fight for your lives but you need to focus on realistic goals. Also be careful not to offend the "woke" contingent - they have a lot of influence. So much more to say... Just pay attention to how everything you say will be perceived.

Not enough people know about the Holodomor. Russia has covered it up and prevented the world from knowing the truth.
1
@spooky_hausintrees there were American soldiers forced by the north Vietnamese to make statements on tv and there was a lot of outrage about it. Whatever people might say in these comments I assure you most westerners do not approve.
1
If Putin was removed from power, then whoever takes over would blame him for the ruin of Russia, and Ukraine would get its territory back.
1
@billglobalrc5384 I've been watching some YouTube from India and was surprised to find they don't like the West very much. I always thought they were firmly in the camp of the free world. I think a side-effect of this war is a huge lesson in geopolitics for a lot of us. I suppose something like this happened to us during WW2 because we were pretty isolated then too.
1
Taking back Mariupol would be a powerful boost to morale both at home and abroad. If there is any way you can do this without excessive losses it would definitely be worth it. People in the West would view it as not only a military victory but also as an act of compassion for the people trapped in that city.
1
The Russians that support Putin deserve the sanctions but those who oppose him don't have good choices. They can protest and go to jail, they can leave Russia, or they can stay silent and ashamed of what is being done in their name.
1
This is Putin's preferred method of taking control. Infiltration, covert influence campaigns, destabilization, and takeover from within. Ukraine knows this all too well.
1
Ukraine govt: can you infiltrate behind the front lines like the Russian saboteurs we're doing to you? This North Vietnamese used this tactic extensively against the US creating the feeling that nowhere is safe. Destroy command and control, disconnect the army from Putin and they may just stop fighting. The Tet offensive ultimately failed but it did show how much the war would cost in dollars and human life. Some believe it was the beginning of the end of that war.

@adamhayes5349 finally! Thank you

I'm not sure Trump realizes how close Russia is to collapse. Putin will stroke his ego until he comes to believe whatever Putin tells him.
1
I don't think there is any way to get an accurate assessment of Russian support for the war. Putin is feeding them a constant stream of propaganda so they really have no idea what the truth is. And people are afraid of answering honestly to poll takers in case they get in trouble
1
Putin's army are like ancient barbarians with their looting and pillaging. They are not soldiers, they are something else entirely.
1
To push out the Russians
1
Barbarian looters. They disgust me 😡
1
Ukraine govt: consider asking for an armistice, and something like Taiwan in which you can build an army with agreements to receive arms from the West. It would be an "armed neutrality". And don't give up any coastal territory.
1
Freedom is a universal human right. Ukraine fights for all of us.
1
They're not in Kansas anymore 😉
1
Russia is on track to collapse economically. They can't sustain this war much longer. Anyone who thinks otherwise is uninformed or one of Putin's bots.
1
@andrea-1271 Russia is on the verge of economic collapse. In the end, the people will suffer until Putin's obsession with Ukraine ends in his removal from power.
1
@chillxxx241 fine, let the US face Putin and Xi and all the other tyrants alone. The world you want to live in cares nothing for anybody but themselves. Enjoy
1
@chillxxx241 Americans cared about people fighting for freedom once upon a time. Trump has convinced the people to care only for themselves.
