Seems like it's a choice between extremes. Where are the moderates? The same situation is happening all over the world. Not fair to those of us that just want someone competent to make thoughtful and reasonable decisions.

@ALROD I'm afraid America is moving in that direction. It's a popularity contest. Not that many people seem to care about how competent they are.
