I don't see why all these people try to give reasons for owning an AR-15. I owned one because it's light and easy to use and it's got an old school style about it. I just wanted to own one and then improve my aim. Too bad I sold it way back then, now it's worth 3 times what I bought it for.

@nenaaa1444 good point. Whoever wants to fire a machine gun should just join the army. In fact, I know guys who joined the army mainly because they like weapons. I'm open to whatever rules and regulations make sense. I was just saying honestly I didn't really have a reason to own an AR-15, I just wanted one and then I got bored with it and sold it back.
