If she truly wanted forgiveness she would have went to that man's mother and confessed to what she did and asked his mother for HER forgiveness. She would have done that prior to the trial, there would not have been a trial. She would have thrown herself on the mercy of the court because she knew that she was wrong. Instead, she pleaded NOT GUILTY. She apologized after being found guilty and the ignorant brother's "Stockholm Syndrome" emerged. These two idiotic jury members do not realize that they set/upheld the precedence of minimal jail time for the death of a Black person. They sound as if they didn't want to punish Amber too much instead of carrying out their duty. I wonder what kind of jail time Botham's mother expected? As Black people we need to realize that we live amongst DEMONS. These people don't value a Black life as the act and the sentencing demonstrate.
