@jdmensing Why are folks who are not Black nor like and respect Black people worried about us? We make up 13% of the American population and White people make up 60% of America and white people can't help but show up in person or on social media to critique us. Do you think white people are on a mystical high ground that enables them to judge us? When I said "us", I meant Black people, I'm not hiding from that, you folks have an obsession with us that's borderline clinical, manifested by ignoring the beam in your own eye.

@Bittiepb That all depends on the grouping intent. For example if you and I are in a room and we bring in 100 Black people, we can safely say that's 100 Black people, right? Now, if I say to the group "over 25 go to the other side of the room", I've just created a new group based on age. I could do that all day based on many attributes and it would indeed prove we as Black people don't all think alike. Now, if I were to say "everyone who agrees with racist attacks against Black people move to the other side of the room" how many Black people do you think are going to move? When Sage Steele walks into a room, she's a Black woman. You can also fit her into many other groups within the Black woman group. None of those groups are meant to disrespect her white mother, she's building that straw man.
