@BP12ification What do you mean by "push people apart", as Black people we are always apart from white supremacists, but not from white people.

@drhane In 2016 someone said "Make America great again. We know what that's code for.

@derekcostello1016 Show your proof of your accusation.

@mikeg1378 Critical Race Theory was and is not being taught, actual American History was being taught. Nice talking point attack though. It's not Critical Race Theory being taught to say America had a choice to start as a free or Slave Country and went with the latter. The U.S. Constitution at it's ratification supported and upheld Slavery. Truth.

@pcp.9834 This discussion isn't about the 2020 Presidential Election.

Explain that slogan. It sounds as if you don't know what the aim was in bring forth Affirmative Action and other pro-minority hiring legislation.

@mikeg1378 You're wrong, as I said you're using talking points and over-reacting parents who never showed up for a school board meeting to make sure their kids were ready for college cosplaying caring parents. They're actually victims of the false characterizing of school classes helped by FOX News.

@dhayd8922. We have not and it not due to lack of effort by white supremacists.

@JohnSmith-ks5xw How have we gone backwards?
1
@ralphcramden9775 Race relations were great to "some" Americans as long as we knew our place. It seems to me if we want to make money the same as white people who make more than $10 an hour after paying almost $100K for college, race relations are now bad, we demand to make enough money to raise a family and we've made race relations bad. We point out discrimination and we're setting relations back.
1
@JohnSmith-ks5xw I can only guess you're speaking for yourself. Sorry time has passed you by with small success.

@tdcfpc3630 The media didn't keep Black people from the American dream, white supremacists did.
1
@kimlooff2401 So why didn't more no racist whites help in the Civil Movement?
1
People love to hearken back to a time that never existed in America; "I remember when race relations were better" is what they say. That statement is code for race relations were good as long as Black people never complained, as long as Black people didn't seek the "white" American dream everything was good.

@dhayd8922 Okay, where were we, where are we?

@dhayd8922 You said we went backwards, I asked for proof ot example. Seems we both speak English so it should be simple.

I've noticed that in our country, since the terrorist attacks by Hamas on Israel and the beginning of Israel's military operations, it's forbidden to show any type of sympathy for the Palestinians civilians who are the actual group paying for the actions of Hamas. In my comparison if a Black person speaks up only against the white supremacists some white people who say they don't belong to the group of white supremacists become offended.

In America, to white supremacists...notice I did not say white people, my race is who I am. It's hard, very hard to believe that in America 2024, half of the year almost gone that Black people and a too small of a number of whites are the only ones in the country who are fighting racism and discriminatory practices.
