  1. @ADayInHistoryOfficial. Everyone knows Africans sold other people from that Continent into Slavery but it should be noted that they didn't deliver Slaves to the New World. Europeans went to war and killed other Europeans or either killed them on sight due to nationality. The United States had 890,000 Slaves within its border in 1800 and by 1860 it had 3.9 million. Now throw in the fact by 1808 it was illegal to bring people into the U.S for the purpose of Slavery.

  2. I think it was the year 1808 when it became illegal to import people into the United States for the purpose of Slavery but as we know interstate Slavery continued until 1865.
