This is by far the best though: Washington, D.C., May 6, 2021–Gayle Conelly Manchin (I don't need to identify her hubby, do I?) sworn in today as the Appalachian Regional Commission’s (ARC) thirteenth federal co-chair, becoming the first ARC federal co-chair from West Virginia. Nominated by President Biden, Manchin will work directly with ARC’s 13 member governors, their state alternates and program managers, and a network of local development districts to continue to build community capacity and strengthen economic growth throughout Appalachia.

  2. Okay, you have Manchin in for a video CNN, last year his state took money to start a national park. That money was taken as part of the 2020 COVID-19 Stimulus and I don't see how that national park helps anyone's COVID strife except the State of WV's Department of Tourism. The CNN presenter failed to bring up that "little fact". Also each year his state and to be fair other states receive our tax dollars as members of the Appalachian Regional Commission. So thanks to the weak ass interview we will never know why he's such a fiscal hawk now.
