@rodiculous9464 I understand the concept but as someone already pointed out, with silicon power efficiency and performance usually increase together. spending more on a product that's a middling improvement over last gen with significantly higher operational cost and then peacocking about how much $$ you're capable of wasting just to say you have the new model makes a person come off as frivolous.

@charlestilley2576 it still exists in 10, too. It does some kind of diagnostic on your system specs and disables it if you have enough/fast enough RAM but it still exists in the OS

if you watch the video, upgrading the SSD isn't possible in this model, linux would still be a valid option depending on the user and how well supported the hardware is though

this thing probably would have been a good upgrade for my girlfriend's 1050 if it wasn't selling for basically double MSRP right now. I was fully ready to just impulse buy it but the availability went to nothing within days and now the price is dog water like everything else.
