  4. This is . . . a very bad Characterization of the Gospels. Oh, and absolutely zero Christians claim that the Old Testament just spontaneously appeared after being written by God directly. This video is one of the few that is quite embarrassing, with many historical issues.

  8. The thing we all forget about Middle Easter rulers (even to this day, really, for things like the Kings of Saudi Arabia) is that their legitimacy came from being "chosen by the divine". If you couldn't convince the powerful priesthoods that you were divinely chosen, you were just a lame rebel bandit about which no one cared.
