  1. Death is quite undesirable. Not only do you miss out on the future, your whole effort of learning and growing, of building your character and intellect, is turning into ashes. My solution is to not think/cling/struggle about it. I think if one experiments with letting go of that reflexive resistance, a relaxed mindstate can be achieved, that doesn't require any further rationalizations. It has worked well for me. Arguments that death is somehow good or necessary, have never convinced me.

  2. Also to those few who are actually afraid of being dead, rather than of losing life. Realize that your absence in the year 1627 didn't hurt you. In fact it was quite a good state, wasn't it? Contemplate returning to that state.
