@duhhtor You are the ONE who is self-contradictive, clown🤡. The important thing was the fact that Finland lost the war, period. Everything else you argue remains on the sidelines. You come to me with your crap. Well, and this is also an undeniable historical fact you remain deliberately silent about: During the military purges by Stalin in the late 1930s the Red Army was weaken and "decapitated" of its best military brains, including many generals and high ranking officers who were brilliant strategists. There was even a considerable percentage of former members of the Tsarist military of excellent reputation. The Red Army that fought in Finland was led mostly by a number of younger, inexperienced and unqualified officers who filled-in the "empty spaces" left in the Russian Stauka after the massacres by Stalin. Some of those Red Army officers were humiliated and sacked while others were shot. Larger numbers of soldiers and equipment had little to do with the problem, since it is also a fact that, with a much smaller armed force, the Finns had the advantage over the Russians at least during the first weeks of the war mainly because they had far better military officers than the Red Army did. The average Russian soldier fought, as usual, with great courage and determination. But it was the "bad generalship" in the Red Army that resulted in the initial defeats. By the time of the German invasion of the Soviet Union the Stauka was still struggling to remedy the situation through a radical, general reorganization and modernization. It was during the war period that the Red Army finally recovered and was transformed, as before the purges, into a military force to be reckoned with. So much so that the Red Army was able to successfully and singlehandedly wage war against and defeat a much larger military force of Germans and their foreign satellite armies. By the way, I will mention the mames of the countries that participated in the war of agression and invasion against the Russian people: Germany, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Finland, Spain (the Blue Division), Romania, annexed Austria, Ukraine, plus thousands of Nazi volunteers from the occupied countries. Germany had allocated a full 80% of its Armed Forces, weapons and military resources to its Eastern Front. To those forces and resources we add those of the satellites I mentioned. What resulted from all that was an overwhelming, gigantic multinational military coalition a lesser country would have collapsed in front of. Buy the Red Army managed go on the offensive and liberate all the territory the Germans and their puppet armies were occupiying. And, contrary to the claims made after the war by a number of German high ranking officers about sheer weight of numbers bieng the reason for the Russian victory, it was mainly good generalship and the fact that the Red Army was fighting better than ever before that resulted in the cataclysmic defeat suffered by Germany. Indeed, at the time of the beginning of the German retreat westward, the Wehrmacht still had a considerable military force in their Eastern Front. The battles of Kursk and Stalingrad plus Operations Kutuzov and Bagration successfully turned the tide of war in favor of Russia, and signalled the beginning of the end of the German victories

@duhhtor Look, @duhhtor, I could not care less about what you feel, think and believe. I stated undeniable historical truths, and that's that. In contrast, you repeatedly lied by omission and by truth-twisting. Thousands others are reading my comments as well as yours. That is good since they can coroborate what I stated and be the impartial judges if they do wish. You, on the other hand, are omitting key, important historical facts, and your tremendous biases only make matters worse for you and clearly show your personal antagonism towards Russia. This is one of the reasons why I wrote my comments: For me to publically unmask you and refute you during the whole process. If you do not agree with my historically-based statements that is YOUR PROBLEM. You behave too passionately about NOTHING. That clearly shows your superficialities and lack of intellectual maturity. You are not even capable of refuting me because whatever you might use as arguments are full of biased distortions and half-truths. You may continue to rant, if so you wish. That changes NOTHING. I know I have labored you too much and it hurts you like hell. Well, clown 🤡, time for me to go on winning. As for you, you can continue to waste your time ranting and arguing. You can lose some mental calories by doing that. Good for your elephant brain, I guess. Say hello to your Finnish friends for me. Bye, clown🤡!
