Firstly, Germany's World War 2 losses are considerably higher than what he claims. More than 6 million dead German soldiers, airmen and sailors. Some estimates put the death toll as high as 12 million killed German combatants. When the population toll is also included the death toll is even higher. Russians losses were quite high not because the Red Army was "inferior", but because the Russians had to fight not only against the Germans, but also against the armies of Germany's satellites: Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Nazi volunteers from Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the Netherlands, Norway, France and even Vlasov's Russian armies fighting for Germany.
